This recipe showcases the rich, smoky flavour of iTz noT Paprika Tofu in a velvety, dairy-free take on traditional stroganoff. It delivers the creamy richness you expect from a classic dish while keeping things lower in calories and high in protein, served over iTz noT Tagliatelle Pasta for a wholesome, hearty bowl. 

The result is a high-protein, low-fat stroganoff that brings all the satisfaction of comfort food while fitting perfectly into a balanced lifestyle.

Ingredients

Main:

  1. 1 packet iTz noT Tagliatelle Pasta
  2.  iTz noT Paprika Tofu Diced
  3. 1 tbsp Garlic & Herb cooking paste
  4. 1 small onion, finely sliced
  5. 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (button or parishioner-type)
  6. 1 piece of red bell pepper, reduced into large strips
  7. ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra depth)

Creamy Sauce:

  1. 1 tbsp iTz noT MAYONAISE
  2. 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
  3. 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  4. 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of low-fat milk substitute)
  5. Salt & pepper to taste
  6. Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preparation

  • Rinse Tagliatelle Pasta and drain as per pack instructions.

2️⃣ Sauté the Aromatics

  • Add Garlic & Herb Cooking Paste and warm up in a non-stick frying pan.
  • Combine the onions and bell peppers, and then prepare the food until soft and slightly browned (3–4 mins).
  • Add mushrooms and cook until soft and brown.

3️⃣ Add the Tofu

  • Add iTz noT Paprika Tofu and cook for 4–5 minutes until edges are a bit crispy.
  • Dust on smoked paprika (for that smoky earthiness).

4️⃣ Make It Creamy

  • To prepare the dressing, whisk together iTz noT MAYONAISE, yoghurt, mustard, and almond in a small bowl.
  • Add the sauce to the pan and stir gently until thickens, coating the tofu and veggies.

5️⃣ Combine & Serve

  • Take the iTz noT Tagliatelle Pasta and simply add them straight into the pan and coat well.
  • Adjust seasoning and simmer another 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
  • Chop a little parsley and sprinkle it over the hot food before serving.
