Ingredients
Main:
- 1 packet iTz noT Tagliatelle Noodles (konjac, GF)
- 200g of iTz noT Paprika Tofu Diced
- 1 tbsp iTz noT Garlic & Herb cooking paste
- 1 small onion, finely sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (button or parishioner-type)
- 1 piece of red bell pepper, reduced into large strips
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra depth)
Creamy Sauce:
- 1 tbsp iTz noT YAYONAISE
- 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of low-fat milk substitute)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Noodles
If noodles are iTz noT Tagliatelle, then rinse and drain as per pack instructions.
Because the sauce takes a while to prepare, just put it off to the side in the meantime.
2️⃣ Sauté the Aromatics
Add iTz noT Garlic & Herb Cooking Paste and warm up in a non-stick frying pan.
Combine the onions and bell peppers information insights, and then prepare the food until soft and slightly browned (3–4 mins).
Add mushrooms and cook until soft and brown.
3️⃣ Add the Tofu
Add iTz noT Paprika Tofu and cook for 4–5 minutes until edges are a bit crispy.
Dust on smoked paprika (for that smoky earthiness).
4️⃣ Make It Creamy
To prepare the dressing, whisk together iTz noT YAYONAISE, yoghurt, mustard, and almond in a small bowl.
Add the sauce to the pan and stir gently until thickened, coating the tofu and veggies.
5️⃣ Combine & Serve
Take the iTz noT Tagliatelle Noodles and simply add them straight into the pan and coat well.
Adjust seasoning and simmer another 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
Chop a little parsley and sprinkle it over the hot food before serving
