Ingredients
Main:
- 1 packet iTz noT Tagliatelle Pasta
- iTz noT Paprika Tofu Diced
- 1 tbsp Garlic & Herb cooking paste
- 1 small onion, finely sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (button or parishioner-type)
- 1 piece of red bell pepper, reduced into large strips
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra depth)
Creamy Sauce:
- 1 tbsp iTz noT MAYONAISE
- 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of low-fat milk substitute)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preparation
- Rinse Tagliatelle Pasta and drain as per pack instructions.
2️⃣ Sauté the Aromatics
- Add Garlic & Herb Cooking Paste and warm up in a non-stick frying pan.
- Combine the onions and bell peppers, and then prepare the food until soft and slightly browned (3–4 mins).
- Add mushrooms and cook until soft and brown.
3️⃣ Add the Tofu
- Add iTz noT Paprika Tofu and cook for 4–5 minutes until edges are a bit crispy.
- Dust on smoked paprika (for that smoky earthiness).
4️⃣ Make It Creamy
- To prepare the dressing, whisk together iTz noT MAYONAISE, yoghurt, mustard, and almond in a small bowl.
- Add the sauce to the pan and stir gently until thickens, coating the tofu and veggies.
5️⃣ Combine & Serve
- Take the iTz noT Tagliatelle Pasta and simply add them straight into the pan and coat well.
- Adjust seasoning and simmer another 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
