The thick, delicious udon noodles are low in calories; thus, they are the perfect canvas for the bold, spicy Flavours of the gochujang-inspired sauce, impeccably paired with the Savory paprika-infused tofu. This quick stir-fry for dinner is hearty but light enough to keep you on track – a perfect weeknight spicy meal.

Ingredients

✓ Toppings:

a block of iTz noT Udon Noodles(150g), a block of iTz noT Paprika Tofu cubed, 1 Tbsp iTz noT Garlic & Herb Cooking Paste, 1/2 onion, thinly sliced, shredded cabbage, 1/2 cup, 1/2 carrot, julienned, 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced, sesame oil, 1 Tbsp, sesame seeds, for garnish, 2 Tbsp chopped spring onions

✓ Spicy Sauce:

1 Tbsp iTz noT Smokey BBQ Sauce, 1 Tbsp iTz noT Tomato Ketchup, coconut aminos or soy, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar, 1 tsp or zero-calorie sweetener, Korean gouger, half a tsp chili flakes or one tab spoon maple syrup

 Instruction

Prepare the Noodles.

  1. Having washed it thoroughly, drain them well, and set them aside.
  2. Put the noodles in a non-stick pan to dry-fry over low heat, and reduce the moisture content by 2-3 minutes. I
  3. it’s crucial as doing so will bring about a good texture of your noodles.

Stir-frying the Base.

  1. Heat iTz noT Garlic & Herb Cooking Paste in a large frying pan or wok.
  2. Add onions, carrots, cabbage and bell peppers.
  3. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until vegetables are soft but still crisp.
  4. Add the Tofu Add iTz noT Paprika Tofu cubes to the pan and cook for 3–5 minutes until the edge browns.

Make the Spicy Sauce.

  1. In a small bowl, whisk iTz noT Smokey BBQ Sauce, iTz noT Tomato Ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, chili flakes, and the sweetener.
  2. Pour over a stir-fry and toss until everything is well-coated and turns shiny.

 Combine and finish.

  1.  Add the iTz noT Udon Noodles into the pan and toss everything over medium heat until everything is well combined and blooming.
  2.  Finish it off with a drizzle of sesame oil and a sprinkle of sesame seeds and spring onions.
