Introduction:
This Smokey BBQ Tofu Rice Bowl is slightly sweet, smoky and savoury. A simple customization you can prep ahead to bring it on the run, this dish combines the chewy tenderness of iTz noT Sticky Rice, the assertive flavour of iTz noT Smokey BBQ Sauce, and the filling texture and flavours of Mediterranean Tofu.
Ingredients:
- 1 pack iTz noT Sticky Rice
- 1 12-ounce pack iTz noT Mediterranean Herbs Tofu – sliced or cubed
- 2-3 tbsp iTz noT Smokey Barbeque Sauce
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup red cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup corn
- 1/2 cup black beans
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:

Cook ITz noT Stick Rice as per packet instructions.

While the rice is cooking, heat a small pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced or cubed iTz noT Mediterranean Herbs Tofu and fry until golden brown.

When the tofu is done, toss the ITz noT Smokey BBQ Sauce and mix around.

Pile the ITz noT Sticky Rice in the base to build the bowl.

Add BBQ tofu, avocado, red cabbage, corn and black beans to the top of the rice.

Sprinkle with the cilantro and serve immediately.
